Grant Assist Service
When a person dies somebody has to deal with their estate (money, property and possessions left) by collecting in all the money, paying any debts and then distributing what is left to those people entitled to it. Probate is the court’s authority given to a person to administer a deceased’s estate.
If someone close to you has died intestate (without a will) or has appointed you to be the executor in their Will, there is certainly a lot to organise and it is easy to forget vital steps or become overwhelmed with the duty in hand. However, you may still wish to be involved in order to retain control and keep costs to a minimum.
The Grant Assist service is designed to help Personal Representatives who want to administer estates themselves with the comfort of having a legal professional in the background. Wendy will help you to prepare all the necessary legal paperwork in your name quickly and efficiently in order to obtain the Grant of Probate, leaving you to get on with administering the estate once you receive it.
The cost of this service will depend on the complexity of the deceased’s estate. This means that the estate will only pay for the documentation required in order to obtain the Grant.
Excepted estate: from £775 (no VAT) plus expenses and disbursements.
Non-excepted estate: from £1275 (no VAT) plus expenses and disbursements.
